Bentley recalled Continental Flying Spur, Continental GT vehicles built between 4 December 2003 and 18 March 2008. There is potential for road salt to corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. The recall notice describes the fix as: fuel filter replaced by the later designed corrosion-resistant coated filter and move the retaining clip. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

There is potential for road salt to corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. In an extreme case this may lead to the filter housing becoming porous with a corresponding fuel leak which has the potential for combustion.
