Ferrari recalled Mondial vehicles built between 1 November 1989 and 31 December 1990. The aluminium ferrules clamping the flexible fuel pipes on the pressure side of the injection system to their unions may deteriorate due to atmospheric conditions. The dealer will replace the original flexible fuel pipes with modified versions. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The aluminium ferrules clamping the flexible fuel pipes on the pressure side of the injection system to their unions may deteriorate due to atmospheric conditions. In extreme cases this could allow fuel leakage with the possibility of an engine bay fire.
