Kia recalled Picanto vehicles built between 11 January 2024 and 14 February 2024. A short circuit inside the EGR (Exhaust Gas Circulation) valve may occur potentially causing the engine to stall before a warning light is displayed. The dealer will replace the EGR Valve. You won't usually pay for it.1

Concern: Kia Picanto EGR Valve Defect: On affected vehicles a short circuit inside the EGR (Exhaust Gas Circulation) valve may occur potentially causing the engine to stall before a warning light is displayed. Remedy: On the affected vehicles the EGR Valve will be replaced.
