Lotus recalled Evora vehicles built between 2 September 2010 and 13 December 2011. Under extreme circumstances the rubber hose section of the VVT oil pipe can leak. The dealer will replace the oil feed pipe. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

Under extreme circumstances the rubber hose section of the VVT oil pipe can leak. A failure of the VVT oil feed pipe may result in oil being deposited onto the engine as well as the exhaust system. This could cause potential engine failure and a potential risk of fire because of the presence of flammable vapour which could result in a crash.
