Mercedes-Benz recalled A Class (177) vehicles built between 1 September 2017 and 20 March 2018. The A-Class 177 might have some missing welding points in the area of both front side members. The recall notice describes the fix as: if these welding points are not present the structural behaviour would be impaired in the event of a crash. In this case an increased risk of injury for the passengers cannot be excluded. As a precautionary measure recall the affected vehicles and check the welding points and rework if necessary. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong
