Polestar recalled PS3 vehicles built between 9 March 2024 and 21 February 2025. There is an issue with the inline connector that joins the bumper wiring harness and the engine bay harness. The dealer will replace the bumper wiring harness and the inline connector on the engine bay harness. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
There is an issue with the inline connector that joins the bumper wiring harness and the engine bay harness. There is a risk of fluid ingress into the connector housing resulting in corrosion of the connector pins.

Concern: RP1063 PS3 Cable Harness Replacement Defect: On affected vehicles there is an issue with the inline connector that joins the bumper wiring harness and the engine bay harness. There is a risk of fluid ingress into the connector housing resulting in corrosion of the connector pins. Remedy: Replace the bumper wiring harness and the inline connector on the engine bay harness.
