Suzuki recalled Jimny vehicles built between 1 April 1998 and 31 October 1999. The bolt securing the gear selector yoke to the gear selector shaft may loosen and fall out. The dealer will fit a higher tensile bolt to the gear selector yoke and tighten it to a higher torque specification. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The bolt securing the gear selector yoke to the gear selector shaft may loosen and fall out. This will allow the gear selector yoke to become detached from the selector shaft. In this event it will not be possible to select gear.
