Suzuki recalled LT-A700X vehicles built between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2005. If the steering tie rod ends have been incorrectly aligned either at build or in use the seal which protects the ball-joint may be forced out of position allowing the ingress of contaminants ultimately resulting in early failure of the joint with possible loss of directional control. The recall notice describes the fix as: recalled machines will have the left and right hand steering tie rod ends replaced with those of a different design. You won't usually pay for it.1
