Alfa Romeo recalled 155 vehicles built between 1 June 1992 and 30 June 1994. A hose longer than specified could have been erroneously fitted with consequent possible interference with the engine. The recall notice describes the fix as: a check on the length of the hose. In cases where the hose is found to be too long it will be shortened to the right length or if damaged will be replaced. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

A hose longer than specified could have been erroneously fitted with consequent possible interference with the engine. Such interference could in the long run cause the perforation of the hose oil leakage and a potential risk of fire.
