Citroën recalled C4, C5, DS4 and 1 more vehicles built between 15 May 2013 and 2 April 2017. The positioning of the starter motor supply terminal may not conform to specification. The dealer will replace damaged components if necessary. You won't usually pay for it.1

The positioning of the starter motor supply terminal may not conform to specification. Contact with a neighbouring component could cause a short circuit.

Concern: STARTER SUPPLY WIRE MAY CHAFE Defect: The positioning of the starter motor supply terminal may not conform to specification. Contact with a neighbouring component could cause a short circuit. Remedy: On affected vehicles check the position of the terminal and where necessary reposition. Replace damaged components if necessary.
