Dacia Duster Recalls In The UK: Every Safety Recall By Year And Build Date, And What To Do

Recall data from DVSA, updated 15 October 2026.

The Dacia Duster has 5 UK safety recalls in DVSA records, 4 of them since 2020. The most common faults involve airbags and fire risk. Enter your registration to see which apply to your car; you won't usually pay for a recall repair.1

The Dacia Duster has very few UK recalls for such a popular car, so most owners will never receive a letter. The largest, R/2020/307, fixed an ignition key that could jam in the start position on the Duster, Logan and Sandero, covering 2,611 vehicle-records; a jammed key can damage the starter and, in rare cases, cause a fire risk. Earlier, R/2017/255 corrected wiring in the horn system on early Dusters that could cause other safety faults. The newer Duster has had small recalls with very few cars each: a 2025 recall for a parking brake actuator that could fail (R/2025/378) and a 2023 recall for an LPG tank that may have been welded incorrectly on a single car. If you run your Duster on LPG or bought one from 2024 on, run the registration check anyway. Dacia shares parts with Renault, and any Dacia dealer can confirm by VIN.

Many recall faults give no warning at all, so a registration check is the only reliable way to know.2 See car recall symptoms.
