Dodge recalled Journey vehicles built between 1 November 2007 and 30 November 2008. The front door wiring may fatigue and break. The recall notice describes the fix as: a check of the wiring and repair if required. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
The front door wiring may fatigue and break. Should this occur it may affect the circuitry for the side air bag which may if the vehicle is involved in a side impact result in the non deployment of the side air bag.

Concern: SIDE AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY Defect: It is possible that the front door wiring may fatigue and break. Should this occur it may affect the circuitry for the side air bag which may if the vehicle is involved in a side impact result in the non deployment of the side air bag. Remedy: Recall all affected vehicles for a check of the wiring and repair if required.
