Fiat recalled Ducato vehicles built between 1 May 2002 and 30 April 2002. Water may enter the ABS (antilock brake) control unit through a harness connector. The dealer will fit a new ABS wiring harness which has watertight connectors. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
Water may enter the ABS (antilock brake) control unit through a harness connector. This will cause the ABS control unit to malfunction and the fault warning lamp to illuminate.

Concern: WATER INGRESS TO ABS CONTROL UNIT Defect: Water may enter the ABS (antilock brake) control unit through a harness connector. This will cause the ABS control unit to malfunction and the fault warning lamp to illuminate. Remedy: Fit a new ABS wiring harness which has watertight connectors.
