Isuzu recalled Artic Truck AT35 vehicles built between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2016. The connection block/shaft between the splined parts of the steering rack and steering column have not been manufactured to specification. The dealer will replace the connection block with a longer connector. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The connection block/shaft between the splined parts of the steering rack and steering column have not been manufactured to specification. This can result in the splines not engaging in the block/shaft sufficiently. This could lead to a disconnection of the steering column and steering rack which can result in loss of control of the vehicle.
