Kia recalled EV5 vehicles built between 19 August 2025 and 14 March 2026. The second-row lower seat bolts may not have been installed. The dealer will check the security of all the rear seat retaining bolts & install a new bolt if found missing. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The second-row lower seat bolts may not have been installed. On effected cars a missing bolt may increase the risk of injury if the vehicle was subjected to a collision from behind.
