Lamborghini recalled Murcielago vehicles built between 30 September 2005 and 14 April 2008. It is possible due to fuel surge and vehicle vibration that the spot welds on the fuel pump support bracket within the fuel tank may fail. The dealer will replace the fuel tank. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
It is possible due to fuel surge and vehicle vibration that the spot welds on the fuel pump support bracket within the fuel tank may fail. This can result in a small fuel leak onto the floor and if an external heat source is present then this could result in a fire.
