Land Rover recalled Defender vehicles built between 24 October 2014 and 6 January 2015. The fixing bolts for the front and rear hub assemblies are not to specification. The dealer will replace if any damaged has been caused by bolts failing the affected components. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The fixing bolts for the front and rear hub assemblies are not to specification. The bolts could break and cause loud noise followed by severe vibration wheel lock possibly a bolt could puncture the brake disc or even if all the bolts are damaged the hub may become insecure to the axle. The aforementioned will cause instability and significantly increase the risk of collision.
