Mercedes-Benz recalled Vito vehicles built between 9 October 2003 and 23 February 2006. A potentially defective airbag module from Takata might have been installed during a driver-airbag replacement. The dealer will check the airbag on the affected vehicles and replace it if necessary. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
A potentially defective airbag module from Takata might have been installed during a driver-airbag replacement. In the event of an accident with airbag deployment the airbag may not provide any restraining effect and there could be a risk of injury to the occupants from separating inflator parts.
