Mitsubishi recalled Outlander vehicles built between 27 April 2011 and 29 April 2011. The parking brake cable may not be properly located in the rear brake shoes parking brake operating lever. The dealer will check and if required secure the cable. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
The parking brake cable may not be properly located in the rear brake shoes parking brake operating lever. It is therefore possible if the cable is not secure that the cable may become loose during driving which will result in the failure of the handbrake if not rectified.
