Nissan recalled NV200 vehicles built between 17 February 2012 and 30 July 2012. The steering wheel boss may not have been produced to the correct specification. The dealer will check and if necessary replace the steering wheel assembly. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The steering wheel boss may not have been produced to the correct specification. If a higher than normal loading is applied to the steering wheel typically on low speed manoeuvring it is possible that the steering wheel boss may separate from the steering column. This can result in a loss of steering control.
