Porsche recalled Panamera vehicles built between 27 February 2018 and 22 March 2018. There is the possibility the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal module is not secured correctly due to an assembly error. The recall notice describes the fix as: to prevent this from occuring correct locking of the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal has to be checked and confirmed by a Porsche dealership. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

There is the possibility the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal module is not secured correctly due to an assembly error. The assembly error could potentially lead to a loosening of the contact of the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal and as a result throttle response may no longer be available. If this happens while driving the vehicle will decelerate to a walking pace and it can only be moved with the engine power available at idle speed.
