Renault recalled Twingo vehicles built between 13 June 2014 and 15 December 2014. Due to an error in the engine ECU software it is possible that the vehicle will suffer an unintended acceleration or not able to decelerate. The dealer will reprogram the engine ECU with new software. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

Due to an error in the engine ECU software it is possible that the vehicle will suffer an unintended acceleration or not able to decelerate. The driver should still be able to control the vehicle by applying the brakes and manipulating the clutch and gears.
