Suzuki recalled Grand Vitara vehicles built between 28 June 2005 and 2 April 2007. Due to an improper design of the intercooler inlet hose there is a possibility that the air/fuel mixture ratio may be incorrect within the diesel particulate filter assembly. The dealer will fit recalled vehicles with a modified intercooler hose. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

Due to an improper design of the intercooler inlet hose there is a possibility that the air/fuel mixture ratio may be incorrect within the diesel particulate filter assembly. This in the worst case may cause the diesel particulate filter to ignite.
