Suzuki recalled Grand Vitara vehicles built between 28 June 2005 and 2 April 2007. The intercooler has been improperly designed. The dealer will fit recalled vehicles with an engine intercooler attachment assembly. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The intercooler has been improperly designed. This may allow the intercooler to come apart in use causing an improper mixture ratio of air/fuel in the diesel particulate filter. In the worst case the particulate filter may ignite.
