Toyota recalled Urban Cruiser vehicles built between 24 April 2025 and 8 November 2025. During the manufacturing process of the rear outer door handle an insufficient amount of grease may have been applied to components of the internal linkage. The dealer will replace the rear door handles. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
During the manufacturing process of the rear outer door handle an insufficient amount of grease may have been applied to components of the internal linkage. As a result corrosion may develop on an internal spring over time. Which may cause it to bind or seize.
