Ford recalled Maverick vehicles built between 16 November 1994 and 28 February 1995. The nuts securing the road wheels may not have been tightened to the correct torque and could become loose. The dealer will tighten the wheel nuts to the correct torque. You won't usually pay for it.1

Concern: WHEEL NUTS INSUFFICIENTLY TORQUED Defect: The nuts securing the road wheels may not have been tightened to the correct torque and could become loose. Remedy: Recall the affected vehicles and tighten the wheel nuts to the correct torque. Any damage to wheels or studs caused as a result of undertorqueing will be addressed at the recall.
