Jeep recalled Avenger vehicles built between 4 September 2025 and 16 October 2025. Due to a production nonconformity there is a requirement to inspect the brake pedal bracket connection and if necessary perform a rework to eliminate any potential risk of brake pedal disengagement. The dealer will check for the presence of the clip confirming correct assembly and reworking it if necessary. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
Due to a production nonconformity there is a requirement to inspect the brake pedal bracket connection and if necessary perform a rework to eliminate any potential risk of brake pedal disengagement. In the event of brake pedal failure the Electronic Park Brake located on the centre console can be applied while driving to bring the vehicle to a controlled stop. Additionally when active the Automatic Emergency Braking system will intervene if it detects an imminent collision.
