Lexus NX Recalls In The UK: Every Safety Recall By Year And Build Date, And What To Do

Recall data from DVSA, updated 15 October 2026.

The Lexus NX has 6 UK safety recalls in DVSA records, 4 of them since 2020. The most common faults involve software and brakes. Enter your registration to see which apply to your car; you won't usually pay for a recall repair.1

The Lexus NX has a short recall history, and most recent recalls are software fixes done in a single visit. The largest reaching the NX is R/2025/467, which reprograms the parking assist unit across most of the Lexus range, covering 20,855 vehicle-records. Newer NX models also had a forward recognition camera recall for the driver assistance systems (R/2024/250) and a data communication module software update that affected eCall (R/2023/280). The earlier first-generation NX had mechanical recalls: a parking brake that might not apply correctly (R/2016/295, 9,113 vehicle-records) and a 2022 recall for spot welds that might be missing (R/2022/109). Lexus recalls tend to arrive a few years after a model's launch, so check an older NX again even if it has been clear. The NX shares parts with Toyota models such as the RAV4. Any Lexus centre can confirm by VIN.
