MINI recalled Mini Aceman, Minie 3DR vehicles built between 20 March 2026 and 9 April 2026. The interior mirror mounting plate may not have been bonded to the windscreen sufficiently. The dealer will replace the windscreen (including interior mirror mounting). You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
The interior mirror mounting plate may not have been bonded to the windscreen sufficiently. The rear view mirror could become partially or even completely detached from the windshield.

Concern: Replacing the Windscreen J01 J05 Defect: For affected vehicles the interior mirror mounting plate may not have been bonded to the windscreen sufficiently. The rear view mirror could become partially or even completely detached from the windshield. Remedy: The windscreen (including interior mirror mounting) will be replaced.
