Most Nissan Micra recalls involve older generations, and the current Micra has had only one since 2020. That recall, R/2023/095, covers 41,191 fifth-generation Micras because, with the driver's seat in a certain position, the seat could interfere with a part in a crash; book it promptly. Older Micras account for the largest recalls. R/2013/063 fixed a steering wheel bolt that might not have been tightened correctly, covering 133,869 vehicle-records, and R/2010/185 dealt with an engine that could stall and fail to restart. A passenger airbag that could tear during deployment led to R/2019/312. Many Micras are now with second or third owners, often as first cars, so a registration check is worthwhile before buying one or handing one down. Micra recalls are listed alongside the Note and Juke in some campaigns. Any Nissan dealer can confirm by VIN which apply.

Each recall covers Micras built between certain dates. Find your car's build date on the V5C or ask a Nissan dealer, then match it below.
Build dates come from DVSA's Build Start and Build End fields. A car built inside the range may be included, and Nissan confirms by VIN. See where to find your VIN.
