Peugeot recalled 5008 V3 vehicles built between 25 November 2025 and 27 November 2025. Some vehicles may have a cylinder block with a missing cooling nozzle. The dealer will check the presence of all cooling nozzles and replace if missing. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

Some vehicles may have a cylinder block with a missing cooling nozzle. A missing nozzle means the piston may not be adequately cooled causing it to weaken deform or break and leading to sudden engine failure resulting in a loss of power and in the worst‑case scenario a thermal incident.

DVSA's Original Wording

Concern: Cooling spray nozzle potentially missing Defect: Affected vehicles may have a cylinder block with a missing cooling nozzle. A missing nozzle means the piston may not be adequately cooled causing it to weaken deform or break and leading to sudden engine failure resulting in a loss of power and in the worst‑case scenario a thermal incident.
