Peugeot recalled 3008 V3, 408, 5008 V3 vehicles built between 18 March 2026 and 20 March 2026. The Motor Control Unit (MCU) Inverter may have a manufacturing deviation which could lead to gearbox malfunctions and the risk of an internal electrical short circuit leading to overheating or a fire. The dealer will replace the MCU inverter. You won't usually pay for it.1
