Porsche recalled 918 Spyder vehicles built between 6 November 2013 and 27 July 2015. The durability of the lower trailing arm cannot be guaranteed. The recall notice describes the fix as: recall all the affected vehicles to replace the lower trailing arms with a more durable component. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

The durability of the lower trailing arm cannot be guaranteed. The arm can start to crack or fracture which if used on race track use or similar events can cause the arm to fail and result in loss of control of the vehicle.
