Škoda recalled Fabia, Octavia, Rapid and 1 more vehicles built between 8 February 2016 and 16 June 2017. In the event of an accident in which the airbag is deployed the front airbag gas generator could burst sending metal fragments into the vehicle. The dealer will replace the front airbag on the driver side. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
In the event of an accident in which the airbag is deployed the front airbag gas generator could burst sending metal fragments into the vehicle. This could cause serious harm or fatal injuries to the driver and their passengers.
