Citroën recalled Berlingo vehicles built between 12 September 2023 and 22 January 2024. Some vehicles may suffer a loss of Hydraulic Brake Compensation (HBC). The dealer will update the ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration. You won't usually pay for it.1

The Risk
If the fault occurs, the recall notice says it could lead to reduced brake performance.
The Fix
The dealer will update the ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration. The fix is a software update, which usually takes under an hour at the dealer.
