Ford recalled Transit Courier vehicles built between 24 June 2024 and 27 June 2024. Some vehicles have been fitted with an incorrect side airbag on the front right seat. The dealer will replace the front right-side airbag. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
Some vehicles have been fitted with an incorrect side airbag on the front right seat. There is no significant increase in severity of harm. In the case of a side impact airbag performance still meets ECE135 and ECE95 requirements.

Concern: 24C28 - Transit Courier - Front right seat built with incorrect side airbag Defect: Affected vehicles have been fitted with an incorrect side airbag on the front right seat. There is no significant increase in severity of harm. In the case of a side impact airbag performance still meets ECE135 and ECE95 requirements. Remedy: Replace the front right-side airbag.
