Tesla recalled Model 3, Model Y vehicles built between 21 May 2019 and 15 November 2024. Upon detection of a malfunction with the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) the TPMS tell tale does not persist between drive cycles where the vehicle is off or asleep between the drive cycles. The dealer will install modified software via an Over the Air (OTA) wireless update. You won't usually pay for it.1

Upon detection of a malfunction with the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) the TPMS tell tale does not persist between drive cycles where the vehicle is off or asleep between the drive cycles. Therefore the driver may not be adequately warned of potential under-inflation of the tyres increasing the risk of a collision.
