Toyota recalled Yaris vehicles built between 2 April 2013 and 23 May 2013. A brake fluid leak could develop on brake pipe unions of either of the rear brake calipers or rear brake cylinders. The dealer will check re-tighten the unions and if required replace any damaged/defective components. You won't usually pay for it.1

What’s Wrong

A brake fluid leak could develop on brake pipe unions of either of the rear brake calipers or rear brake cylinders. If this occurs then the driver will receive a warning in the form of a warning light illuminating on the instrument panel. However if the driver does not heed this warning the braking efficiency of the vehicle could be impaired and the stopping distance increased.
