Toyota recalled Proace, Proace Verso vehicles built between 1 June 2021 and 15 June 2022. When the data is read out from the vehicle ECU an incorrect IUPR (In-Use Performance Ratio) value is shown. The dealer will reprogram the Engine Control Unit (ECU) with updated software and calibration. You won't usually pay for it.1

The Risk
The recall notice describes the concern as: when the data is read out from the vehicle ECU an incorrect IUPR (In-Use Performance Ratio) value is shown. This does not comply with regulations however there is no impact on safety or vehicles' exhaust emissions.
The Fix
The dealer will reprogram the Engine Control Unit (ECU) with updated software and calibration. The fix is a software update, which usually takes under an hour at the dealer.
