Toyota recalled Proace, Proace City vehicles built between 26 July 2025 and 9 October 2025. Equipped with diesel engines there is a possibility that you may experience fuel leakage from the common rail. The dealer will check and if required replacement of the common rail. You won't usually pay for it.1
What’s Wrong
Equipped with diesel engines there is a possibility that you may experience fuel leakage from the common rail. As a result fuel leaking between the nut and the common rail cone may create fuel vapour and fuel flow towards the hot exhaust system with a risk of a thermal event.

Concern: Potential defect of fuel supply rail on certain Toyota Proace and Proace City Defect: For certain vehicles equipped with diesel engines there is a possibility that you may experience fuel leakage from the common rail. As a result fuel leaking between the nut and the common rail cone may create fuel vapour and fuel flow towards the hot exhaust system with a risk of a thermal event. Remedy: Check and if required replacement of the common rail.
