Citroën recalled C3 vehicles built between 12 July 2012 and 12 July 2012. The nearside front brake hose may not be properly secured and could chafe. The nearside front brake hose may not be properly secured and could chafe. If not noticed the chafing could cause loss of brake fluid and the warning lamp to illuminate. Additionally it is possible the braking efficiency could be adversely affected.

Concern: BRAKE EFFICIENCY COULD BE REDUCED Defect: The nearside front brake hose may not be properly secured and could chafe. If not noticed the chafing could cause loss of brake fluid and the warning lamp to illuminate. Additionally it is possible the braking efficiency could be adversely affected. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary correctly secure the nearside front brake hose or replace the hose.
