Which Car Is It?
Choose the make and model so we can match recalls to your car.
Toyota Prius recalls tend to arrive about five years after the cars are built, so older hybrids should be checked even if they have been clear. The recalls most relevant to owners involve the hybrid system shutting down. R/2020/190 fixed a fault that could shut down the hybrid system and cause a loss of drive on the Prius and Auris Hybrid, covering 55,724 vehicle-records, and R/2018/293 dealt with cars that might not enter fail-safe driving mode as intended. A loss of drive at speed is dangerous, so book these promptly; see loss of power recalls. Fire risk is the other main theme: R/2016/152 fixed a fuel leak and fire risk on the Prius, Auris and Lexus CT 200h. Older Prius models had steering recalls (R/2012/145 and R/2006/103). The latest Prius had a 2026 relay and wiring harness recall (R/2026/027). Any Toyota centre can confirm by VIN.
