Which Car Is It?
Choose the make and model so we can match recalls to your car.
Toyota RAV4 recalls tend to arrive about five years after the cars are built, so older RAV4s are the ones to check. The largest, R/2015/095, replaced driver's airbags that could rupture on the RAV4, Hilux and Yaris, covering 200,216 vehicle-records; see Takata airbag recalls. Fire risks led to R/2012/118 and R/2015/206, the second for a power window switch shared with several Toyotas, and R/2012/085 fixed a rear suspension arm that could separate on the RAV4, Auris and Avensis. The RAV4 was also part of Toyota's 2010 accelerator pedal recall (R/2010/010). The current hybrid and plug-in hybrid RAV4s have had mostly software recalls, including the 2025 instrument cluster and parking assist reprogramming shared across the range (R/2025/270 and R/2025/466) and an eCall data communication module update (R/2023/279). Any Toyota centre can confirm by VIN which apply.

Many recall faults give no warning at all, so a registration check is the only reliable way to know.2 See car recall symptoms.
