Which Car Is It?

Honda Jazz recalls arrive very late, often nine years or more after the cars were built, so even a Jazz that has been clear before is worth checking again. Two kinds of recall matter most. The first is Takata airbags: the Jazz is part of Honda's large driver's and passenger airbag inflator recalls, such as R/2016/045 and R/2015/104, covering hundreds of thousands of Hondas across several models; see Takata airbag recalls. The second is fire: R/2013/076 covered 171,385 Jazz vehicle-records for a risk of fire from a power window switch, following an earlier fire-risk recall in 2010 (R/2010/007). The latest Jazz and Jazz Crosstar have had small recalls, including a front camera that might not start correctly (R/2022/221) and a rear seat belt webbing sensor (R/2020/194). Many Jazzes are now with older drivers or second owners, so checking on behalf of a relative is worthwhile. Any Honda dealer can confirm by VIN.
Jazz Recalls By Year And Build Date
Each recall covers Jazzs built between certain dates. Find your car's build date on the V5C or ask a Honda dealer, then match it below.
Build dates come from DVSA's Build Start and Build End fields. A car built inside the range may be included, and Honda confirms by VIN. See where to find your VIN.
The Jazz Recalls That Matter Most
Drivers airbag inflator may rupture if deployed (R/2016/045) is the largest Jazz recall, covering about 252,174 vehicle-records.
We also explain recalls for the Honda Civic and CR-V. Every other Honda model is covered on the Honda recalls page, and the list of makes covers every other brand.
