DS Automobiles sells relatively few cars in the UK, so its recall rate per 100,000 cars looks high: a handful of recalls on a small fleet moves the figure a long way. The recalls themselves are mostly modest in size but worth checking. The DS 3 Crossback has the most, including an air conditioning compressor wiring fault that could cause a fire risk (R/2023/142, 2,127 cars) and the 2026 mild hybrid recall for the 48-volt starter-generator cover (R/2026/102), explained on our PureTech recalls page. DS 3 Crossback and DS 7 Crossback diesels with the DV5R engine share Citroën's camshaft chain recall (R/2025/248).
