Ford Puma Recalls In The UK: Every Safety Recall By Year And Build Date, And What To Do

Recall data from DVSA, updated 15 October 2026.

The Ford Puma has 17 UK safety recalls in DVSA records, 16 of them since 2020. The most common faults involve software and eCall. Enter your registration to see which apply to your car; you won't usually pay for a recall repair.1

The Ford Puma's biggest recall is R/2025/084, which fixes a fuel line that could chafe and leak on the Puma, Fiesta and Courier, covering 137,530 vehicle-records. A fuel leak carries a fire risk, so if you smell fuel, don't start the car; see fuel leak recalls. Mild hybrid Pumas had a separate 2025 recall, R/2025/196, for a hybrid system fault on 20,558 cars. Early Pumas from 2019 and 2020 had two airbag-related recalls: retention springs that might not lock the airbag to the steering wheel (R/2020/045) and an incorrectly configured restraint control module (R/2023/264). Puma recalls have mostly arrived within about a year of the affected cars being built, and software is the most common fix. Many Pumas have the 1.0 EcoBoost engine; it has no UK recall for its timing belt, but see our EcoBoost wet belt page for the warning signs. Any Ford dealer can confirm by VIN.

What You Might Notice

Many recall faults give no warning at all, so a registration check is the only reliable way to know.2 See car recall symptoms.
