Which Car Is It?
Choose the make and model so we can match recalls to your car.
The Ford Transit Custom is one of the UK's best-selling vans, and almost all of its recalls have arrived since 2020, so fleet managers and sole traders should check every van. The largest current recall, R/2026/018, covers 147,340 Transit and Transit Custom vehicle-records because the 12-volt battery could vent gas, which can cause a loss of power or, rarely, a fire risk. Other 2026 recalls include a wiper motor fix (R/2026/258, 49,464 vehicle-records), seat belts that could fray (R/2026/261) and a bulkhead bolt that could touch the fuel tank (R/2026/365). Earlier, R/2020/183 replaced a run-on water pump that could overheat on 91,814. Plug-in hybrid and electric Transit Customs have their own high-voltage battery recalls. Use our van recalls page to check up to 20 vans at once, and ask Ford about combining several recalls in one visit to keep downtime low.

What You Might Notice
Many recall faults give no warning at all, so a registration check is the only reliable way to know.2 See car recall symptoms.
