Which Car Is It?
Choose the make and model so we can match recalls to your car.
The Kuga is the UK's most recalled plug-in hybrid, and the recall that matters most now is R/2025/527, which tells owners not to charge the high-voltage battery above 80 % until Ford's software update is fitted. It covers 49,466 vehicle-records, close to every Kuga plug-in hybrid on UK roads. If your Kuga is a plug-in hybrid, set the charge limit in the car or the charger today, and check by VIN whether the update has been done. It follows a run of battery recalls since 2020, including a charger module connector check (R/2020/196) and an instruction not to charge from the mains (R/2020/224). Non-hybrid Kugas have their own recalls: a 2026 wiring recall covering 33,487 vehicle-records (R/2026/355), a 2024 fuel injector fix (R/2024/141) and earlier clutch and cylinder head recalls. What You Might Notice
Many recall faults give no warning at all, so a registration check is the only reliable way to know.2 See car recall symptoms.
