The Mercedes-Benz C-Class appears in more UK recall references than almost any other car, with 152 in DVSA's data, partly because it has been on sale for more than 30 years in many versions. The recalls most likely to matter now are airbags and eCall. R/2022/125 fixed a passenger airbag that might not deploy as specified on the C-Class and GLK, covering 109,809 vehicle-records, and R/2021/277 dealt with driver's airbags whose propellant could change over time. A 2021 wave of eCall recalls (R/2021/134, R/2021/110 and others) fixed emergency call systems that might not meet specifications. Steering is the joint most common type of C-Class recall, and in 2025 R/2025/333 checked the steering coupling bolts on some C-Class, EQE and GLC models. Many fixes are software updates. Any Mercedes-Benz retailer can confirm by VIN which apply to your car.
